Our Reticulation Maintenance Program

A healthy garden relies on consistent, reliable irrigation. Over time, environmental changes can compromise your system's performance. Our Bi-Monthly Maintenance Call-Out provides routine servicing every two months to keep your reticulation working efficiently, prevent major system failures, and keep your lawn and plants thriving year-round.

How Every Visit Works

When our technician arrives for your bi-monthly service, we follow a strict operational workflow to inspect, tune, and document your irrigation system within your scheduled service hour.

  • Controller & System Health Audit: We inspect your irrigation controller to ensure correct date/time settings and adjust watering schedules according to local seasonal guidelines. We test internal backup batteries and verify the controller is working properly.

  • Sequential Zone-by-Zone Testing: We manually run every station to verify valve operation. We check for pressure fluctuations, sticking pop-up sprinklers, clogged spray nozzles, and misaligned arcs that cause over spray on paving or fences.

  • On-the-Spot Tune-Up & Minor Adjustments: During the inspection, we perform essential routine maintenance, including unblocking clogged nozzles, re-aligning spray arcs for full head-to-head coverage, and trimming back minor overgrown grass immediately around pop-up heads.

  • Surface & Zone Diagnostics: We check for any signs of pooled water, damaged piping, or weeping fittings where possible.

  • Digital Report Generation: Every check, measurement, and identified fault is logged into our digital job sheet. Photos are taken of any damaged or high-risk components requiring attention. The report is compiled and emailed to you.

What’s Included in Your Digital Report

You never have to guess what was checked or wonder about the state of your system. At the end of every bi-monthly visit, your Digital Assessment Report provides:

  • Complete Zone Checklist: A station-by-station status breakdown (Pass / Attention Needed).

  • Photo Evidence: Clear photos of operational reticulation or otherwise clogged filters, worn components, or damaged heads identified during the check.

  • Work Completed Summary: A clear list of all nozzle cleans, arc adjustments, and controller updates performed on the day.

  • Upfront Repair Quotes: If major parts or extensive labour are required, you receive an itemised quote for approval before any extra work begins.

Parts & Additional Labour Policy

To keep your service plan simple and affordable, your regular fee covers 1 hour of routine testing, diagnostics, and minor tune-ups.

  • Materials & Parts: Any replacement parts required (such as new nozzles, pop-up bodies, solenoids, fitting replacements, or controller modules) are charged separately on top of your regular service fee.

  • Extensive or Unexpected Repairs: If an inspection reveals major issues requiring significant digging, pipe cutting, solenoid replacement, or labour exceeding 1 hour, we will notify you immediately with an upfront quote.

  • Your Choice: We will only perform additional billable work on the spot if time permits and you approve on the day. Otherwise, we can schedule a dedicated repair visit at a time that suits you after we quote for the works. We try to keep all parts in stock so we can address most situations.
